Chris Pipe has over 25 years’ worth of experience in the housebuilding and the wider construction sector and working for the last 12 years at Finance Director level. Fully qualified as a chartered certified accountant (ACCA) in 2000. He has operated in various Small Medium Enterprises and is used to the demands of growing a company. Chris is known for his extensive knowledge of construction processes and uses this to enable production of quality FP & A via the creation of often complex financial models. He has been involved at all levels of the finance function to ensure that procedures and processes are in place to enable the company to be run smoothly and to provide stability to all internal and external stakeholders.

Steven Lindgren joins CurveBlock with over three decades of unparalleled expertise in risk management within the global financial sector. His extensive career has seen him engage deeply with financial regulators across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, navigating several economic cycles with strategic acumen.

Steven’s career portfolio includes property investments spanning the US, UK, Switzerland, and Japan, showcasing his adeptness in international real estate markets. Since 2015, he has been at the forefront of blockchain innovation, contributing as a founder, investor, and advisor. A Stanford University alumnus, Steven’s diverse experience and visionary approach position him as a pivotal asset to CurveBlock’s team and ambitious future.

Steven is a forward-thinking financial services executive who bridges traditional governance with technological innovation. He currently serves as Portfolio Advisor for FinTech and DeepTech startups, guiding boards and executive teams through regulatory landscapes while fostering innovation. Previously, Steven held the position of Managing Director and Head of Risk Management EMEA at Daiwa Capital Markets, where FSA Approved Person status was secured alongside successful completion of a Section 166 regulatory review. He led the implementation of strategic risk management frameworks for global derivatives initiatives while managing a 40-person team across multiple risk disciplines. Senior roles at UBS, Credit Suisse, and Coutts & Co demonstrated consistent ability to balance innovation with regulatory compliance. Steven holds an M.S. in Physics from Stanford University and AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, combining deep analytical capabilities with contemporary technological expertise. He brings proven experience in maintaining regulatory integrity while advancing business objectives in rapidly evolving financial markets.

Dr Lisa Cameron is the chair of the Global Legislators Forum in Digital Assets that supports legislators from different jurisdictions to share best practice.  Lisa was an MP in the UK Parliament from 2015-2024.  During this time, she set up and chaired the UK Parliament’s first Cryptocurrency All Party Parliamentary Group. She was a member of the House of Commons Health & Social Care Select Committee; Women & Equalities Select Committee and International Development Select Committee.  Prior to being elected as an MP, she worked as a Clinical Psychologist for 20 years in the National Health Service.  Dr Cameron is married to Mark who is a local councillor and South Lanarkshire Council’s Veteran’s Champion. They have two daughters, Olivia and Charlotte.

In the summer of 2021 I left a 17-year career as an in-house solicitor and took the plunge into setting up my own investments practice at law firm gunnercooke. In the lead up to that decision I had the best 4-year stint heading up the legal function for a not-for-profit local government pension scheme asset manager. When the role came to a natural cross-roads, I felt positively inspired to work with small businesses whose commercial objectives were underpinned by a tangible, socially beneficial purpose. For 20 years, Paul has run a business development consultancy practice while teaching and coaching. He has an unwavering focus on product and service innovation to maximize the customer experience.

He specialises in strategic management, all aspects of digital innovation, leadership, optimising digital sales & marketing strategies, product management and proposition development. He is also co-founder of 2 FinTech companies, one dedicated to the use of cloud technology and the other helps FS companies deploy new technology and innovation – particularly low-code development platforms.

Paul published his first book ‘Next Generation Finance’ in 2011. He attended Aston University where he read Business Management and he has an MBA from the University of Bradford School of Management. He is a graduate, Fellow and Associate Director of The London Institute of Banking and Finance. He is a Chartered Marketer, a graduate and Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
